Atlanta Events: Happening 01/19 - 01/21

Happy Fri-Yay! The temps are rising and the snow is melting (is that you Spring?). It's the archetypal bipolar winter here in Georgia. It was 27 degrees and snowing this past Tuesday, and I'm sure we'll see plenty of skin on Sunday with a projected high of 60 degrees. We are now 60 days away from the vernal equinox and I CAN. NOT. WAIT!

Okay okay, back to reality. Maybe these five Atlanta events can inspire you to get out this weekend and enjoy the glimpse into Spring.

Cook in season with Grant Park Farmer's Market

Winter months don't mean that we can't still support our local farmer's markets, and Grant Park's has moved to Eventide Brewing to keep us warm. The brewery will be open for seating only, but you can still bring your furry friends along for the fun. This week they will have apples, endive, brussel sprouts, roots (carrot, turnip, radish, beet), greens (chard, arugula, kale, lettuce), and broccoli as the in season produce. Catch the seasonal cooking demo with Market Chef Angela Oyesiku, and reward your community effort with an after market beer. Eventide Brewing Tasting Room opens at 12:30PM for your tasting pleasure.

Thank you for reading. I hope you come back again next week!
