I was in dire need of a rejuvenating staycation to realign my goals before the new year, and I had been yearning to stay at a Loews property again since my girl's trip to Miami. I was ecstatic to be their guest in Atlanta for a much needed staycation. The Loews Atlanta Hotel welcomes a diverse group of business and leisure travelers. Business travelers will appreciate their 24-hour business center, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, and free wireless high-speed internet access.
Happy Fri-Yay! The temps are rising and the snow is melting (is that you Spring?). It's the archetypal bipolar winter here in Georgia. It was 27 degrees and snowing this past Tuesday, and I'm sure we'll see plenty of skin on Sunday with a projected high of 60 degrees. We are now 60 days away from the vernal equinox and I CAN. NOT. WAIT!
The New Jersey Performing Arts Center will be gracing Atlanta with The Hip Hop Nutcracker next Sunday, November 26, at The Fox. The choreographers have crafted a show that plays with a contemporary flair to Tchaikovsky’s timeless score. With ticket prices starting at $25, there's no excuse to not treat yourself to a magical night of a re-imagined classic.
If you've been sipping the dark stuff for some time like me, you may have your go-to spirit that has served you for years over. I love events like Whiskies of the World because they allow me to discover new flavor profiles and brands that I would otherwise not even have known existed. I'm so glad that I attended this year because I was able to discover 10 whiskies for this complacent bourbon drinker.
Enjoy over 200 expressions of Bourbon, Scotch, Irish, Canadian + other whiskies from around the world through food and cigar pairings. Any serious whiskey drinker should reschedule their Saturday evening to be in attendance for this neat experience.
